Denver Acquires Forward to Bolster Playoff Hopes
The Orlando Magic have traded forward Aaron Gordon to the Denver Nuggets in exchange for Gary Harris, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported on Thursday.
Gordon, a 25-year-old forward, has averaged 14.6 points and 6.6 rebounds this season, his sixth in Orlando. He has been a key contributor for the rebuilding Magic, but the team has struggled to find success in recent years.
The Nuggets, meanwhile, are looking to bolster their playoff hopes with the addition of Gordon. They are currently third in the Western Conference standings, but have been inconsistent at times this season.
Gordon is a versatile player who can play both forward positions. He is a good shooter and defender, and he should be a valuable addition to the Nuggets' lineup.
