Italy Beat Spain on Penalties to Reach Euro 2020 Final

Italy overcame Spain in a dramatic penalty shootout to reach the final of Euro 2020 on Tuesday.

The match finished 1-1 after extra time, with Italy winning 4-2 on penalties.

Italy took the lead in the 60th minute through Federico Chiesa, but Spain equalized through Alvaro Morata in the 80th minute. Neither team could find a winner in extra time, so the match went to penalties.

Italy goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma saved two penalties, from Alvaro Morata and Dani Olmo, to give Italy the victory. Federico Bernardeschi scored the winning penalty for Italy.

Italy will now face England in the final of Euro 2020 on Sunday.
